Growing up, listening to Korean sermons was difficult as I struggled with the language barrier. I would doze off, not fully understanding the sermon, and it was a disconnect I wanted to close.
Having studied computer science in college, I used my skill set to create a service to close the gap caused by language barriers. I wanted something that just works: open a link on your phone and see a live translation. No app downloads, no special equipment, no IT expertise required.
What started as a tool for my own church quickly grew into something bigger.
